Terms and conditions
1. About these terms
These terms apply to professional web design and development services provided by Ignacio Amat as a freelance professional.
- Service provider: Ignacio Amat
- Contact channel: the contact form available on this website.
- Location: Barcelona, Spain
2. Scope of services
The exact scope of each project is defined in a written proposal, quote or agreement. This website may describe typical services such as landing pages, business websites, redesigns, maintenance, Laravel development or MVP builds, but each engagement is contracted individually.
3. Quotes and acceptance
- Quotes are indicative until explicitly accepted by both parties.
- Acceptance may occur by email, signature or any other valid written confirmation.
- Changes in scope after acceptance may require updated pricing and timeline estimates.
4. Working process
A project may include definition, structure, design, development, review and launch phases. In order to keep delivery moving, the client is expected to provide feedback, materials and approvals within reasonable timeframes.
5. Payments
- Unless otherwise agreed, projects may be split into one or more payment milestones.
- Many projects are handled with an initial deposit and a final payment before delivery or launch.
- Amounts are stated in the relevant quote and, unless expressly indicated, do not include applicable taxes.
- Late payments may temporarily pause work or delivery until the outstanding balance is resolved.
6. Revisions and changes
Included revisions are those specifically described in the proposal. Substantial changes outside the original scope may be quoted separately.
7. Delivery and timelines
Timelines are reasonable estimates based on the information and assets available at the time. They may be affected by delayed approvals, scope changes, third-party dependencies or circumstances outside direct control.
8. Intellectual property and portfolio use
- Once agreed payments have been made, the client receives the usage rights for the deliverables included in that project.
- Unless confidentiality obligations or written restrictions apply, the professional may display the completed work in a portfolio or case-study format.
- Third-party licenses, premium resources, fonts, images or external services may require separate purchase or licensing by the client.
9. Warranty and support
After delivery, technical issues directly related to the agreed scope may be corrected during the support period, if any, defined for that project. New change requests, misuse, third-party modifications and issues caused by external providers are excluded.
10. Limitation of liability
Unless mandatory law states otherwise, total liability for a specific project shall not exceed the amount actually paid for that project. No liability is accepted for indirect loss, loss of profit or business decisions taken by the client.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts of Barcelona unless mandatory law provides another forum.
